Physical Challenges : Deaf by birth
Gaurav Rathore was born and raised in Jahteara, a village near Jaipur, Rajasthan, and has been deaf since childhood. With no special needs schools in his village, he would cycle 20 kilometres daily to Jaipur for his education. Despite his physical challenges, Gaurav was passionate about sports but couldn’t participate in regular sports. During a school program, he met Mahavir Sir, who introduced him to shooting. Inspired by Mahavir sir, Gaurav took up shooting but he had to quit due to financial constraints. Moved by his situation, Mahavir Sir waived coaching fees and started coaching Gaurav who displayed true talent. Now, Gaurav, a three-time national champion, seeks support to buy a gun and pursue his International shooting dreams.

Age : 17 years

Gorav began his shooting journey in 2022, and within two years, he has shown tremendous improvement. His dedication, hard work, and focus on his goals have earned him recognition as a talented and committed shooter. His coach Mr Anil Jakhar finds him to be a promising candidate to represent India someday.

Champ Name - Harsh Vardhan
Age: 19 yers

- Finishing in 2nd and 3rd place
Harsh’s father is a farmer. Harsh is an average student in his school. At a very young age, Harsh knew that he did not want to become a farmer. At 17, he started pursuing shooting, which was his passion.
With dedication and hard work, he made it to the national level within a year. However, shooting being an expensive sport, Harsh is struggling to afford practice equipment. He is currently seeking financial aid to purchase a gun and achieve his goals.

Age : 14 years
Academy : Kargil Shooting Academy, Jharli , Haryana

Category : 10-meter Air pistol
Achievements :
- Participated in the National Trial- reached 2nd round
- State Championship – Won a gold medal
Nansi started her shooting journey two years ago. In a very short time she has already made significant progress, winning a gold medal at the state level and advancing to the second round of the National trials in her very first attempt !! Her goal is to represent India in the youth category. However, she requires financial support to continue her practice and pursue her dreams.

Age : 19 years

Physical Challenge: Handicap (Right arm amputated)
Rahul was born in Patiala, Haryana. Since childhood he was an active child with a deep love for sports, especially cricket. At the age of 14, he had a tragic accident that led to the amputation of his right hand. This was an extremely difficult period for him, but he soon realized that life wasn’t over. He decided to make something of himself and pursue his passion. In 2021, Rahul began focusing on shooting, dedicating all his time to mastering the sport. In just 2 years, he qualified for the national games, showcasing his talent and determination.
The sky is the limit for Rahul who aims to reach even higher levels in the sport. To do so, he needs the right equipment and financial support to help him achieve his goal of representing India on the international stage.
